Description

The Auriel is a linear ceiling canopy in matt black, 120cm long and 3.7cm high, carrying six pendant suspensions in a single row. Each pendant is a slim black cylinder above a clear, flat disc, 15.9cm tall and 12cm across. The light source is integrated LED, rated at 37W, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. It comes in 2700K or 3000K: one fitting, set to either value when it is installed, so you can choose a warmer white or a slightly fresher one for the room.

Six lights in a row over 120cm are made for a long surface: a dining table, a long desk, a reception counter or a sideboard in a hallway. Each pendant hangs on a fine cable 500cm long, so there is length to spare for a tall room or a stairwell. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and it is made for indoor use. We offer it in two dimming versions: non-dimmable, or DALI or push dimmable. The non-dimmable version suits a room where the light is simply on or off, while the DALI or push dimmable version works with compatible controls and lets you bring the light down for a quieter evening meal.

The canopy and the pendant bodies are finished in matt black, which keeps the line clean against a pale ceiling and sits as comfortably in a modern room as in a period one. It runs on 230V mains and is a Class I fitting. It is wired in to the mains, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. Because the LED is integrated, there are no lamps to reach up and replace over the table. Before you order, choose the dimming version, and decide between 2700K and 3000K so your electrician can set the fitting when it goes in. The six Auriel pendants in our photographs are not included.
