Description
The Auralis is a compact alabaster wall light measuring 300mm tall by 120mm wide, formed from a curved panel of natural Spanish alabaster fixed to a back plate by four exposed metal pin fixings at the corners. A single E14 lamp sits behind the stone, with the alabaster itself acting as the diffuser. The shade has a softly squared profile that reads almost cylindrical from a distance.
Designed for hallways, stairwells, bedside walls and bathroom corridors where a low, ambient glow is wanted rather than directional task light, the slim vertical profile suits narrow wall sections beside doorways or mirrors. The 120mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting within typical clearance for circulation spaces, and the format works well in pairs flanking a bed, a fireplace or a piece of artwork.
Each alabaster shade is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining pattern, mineral inclusions and tonal shifts vary between individual pieces. When unlit the shade reads as a soft off-white with subtle grey marbling; when lit, the warmer interior tones and translucency variations become visible, giving the surface a layered glow rather than a flat wash. The exposed pin fixings introduce a small metallic accent at each corner without competing with the stone.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Auralis take?
The fitting takes a single E14 (small Edison screw) lamp, sold separately. A warm-white LED candle bulb between 2700K and 3000K and around 4-6W gives the most flattering glow through the alabaster shade.
Does each alabaster shade look the same?
No. Each shade is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, mineral inclusions and translucency vary between pieces. This natural variation is part of the material rather than a fault, and is most visible when the lamp is switched on.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
The Auralis does not carry a published IP rating, so it should be treated as an interior fitting only and not installed in bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2. It can be used in dry hallway, bedroom and living spaces.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble, so it should be dusted with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, and do not soak the stone with water.
