Description

The Arcus is a 3m aluminium corner profile designed to house LED strip lighting in corner installations, with a 31x31mm square section that mounts directly to surfaces. The profile's 90-degree internal angle allows LED strips to be fitted into corners where walls meet ceilings, walls meet walls, or ceiling planes intersect, creating continuous lines of light along corner junctions.

Designed for both residential and commercial applications, the Arcus suits architectural lighting projects where concealed LED strips need to follow corner geometry. The aluminium extrusion acts as both a mounting channel for the LED strip and a heat sink, helping dissipate heat from higher-wattage LED installations. The profile accepts a separate diffuser cover (sold separately) to soften and distribute the light output along its length.

The 3m length can be cut to size on site using a hacksaw or mitre saw, allowing the profile to be fitted to exact corner dimensions without wastage. Multiple sections can be joined end-to-end using corner connectors and joining clips (available separately) to create longer runs. The white aluminium finish provides a neutral backdrop that blends into most ceiling and wall colours, and the surface-mount design requires no recessing or cutting into plasterboard or masonry.

No. The Arcus profile is sold as the aluminium housing only. LED strip lighting and the diffuser cover are sold separately, allowing you to choose the LED specification and diffuser type that suits your project.

What width LED strip does it take?

The internal channel width accommodates LED strips up to 12mm wide, which covers most standard single-row and dual-row LED strip products. Measure your chosen LED strip before ordering to confirm fitment.

Can the profile be cut to length?

Yes. The 3m extrusion can be cut to exact dimensions using a hacksaw or mitre saw. For corner installations requiring precise 45-degree mitres, use a mitre box or chop saw to achieve clean joining angles.

How is it fixed to the surface?

The Arcus has pre-drilled mounting slots along its length for screw fixing to walls, ceilings or corner junctions. Use appropriate fixings for your substrate (plasterboard plugs for drywall, masonry anchors for brick or concrete).
