Description

The Arcus is a 2m aluminium extrusion designed to house LED strip lights in 90-degree internal or external corners. The 16x18mm cross-section profile mounts directly to corner surfaces using screws or adhesive, creating a protective channel for LED tape with a frosted diffuser cover that softens the light output and hides individual LED points.

Designed for corner runs in kitchens, under-cabinet lighting, retail shelving, staircases, and architectural lighting installations, the Arcus allows continuous LED tape runs to turn corners without gaps in the light line. The surface-mount design means the profile sits proud of the wall or ceiling surface, making it easier to retrofit into existing spaces than recessed alternatives. The aluminium body acts as a heat sink, dissipating warmth from the LED tape and extending the life of the installation.

The anodised aluminium finish provides corrosion resistance and pairs with both white and metallic interior finishes. The frosted polycarbonate diffuser clips into the channel and can be removed for cleaning or LED tape replacement without dismantling the entire profile. Each 2m length can be cut to size on-site using a hacksaw, allowing precise fitting to match room dimensions without waste. The 16mm projection keeps the profile low-profile enough for most corner applications without creating a trip hazard or visual intrusion.

The internal channel width accommodates most standard LED strip tapes up to 12mm wide. Check the width of your specific LED tape before ordering — very wide strips or those with protective coatings may not fit the 16x18mm channel.

Does it come with a diffuser?

Yes. The frosted polycarbonate diffuser cover is included and clips into the aluminium channel. It softens the light output and hides individual LED points, creating a continuous line of light rather than visible dots.

Can it be cut to length?

Yes. The 2m extrusion can be cut to any length using a hacksaw or mitre saw, allowing precise fitting to match your corner dimensions. Cut ends should be deburred before installation to ensure the diffuser clips in cleanly.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?
