Description

The Arcus is a 2m aluminium corner profile designed to house and protect LED strip lights in vertical and horizontal corner positions. The 31x31mm angled section fits into 90-degree corners on walls, ceilings and joinery, with a round frosted diffuser that softens the LED point source and spreads light across the corner plane.

Designed for surface-mount installation, the profile fixes directly into corner junctions using concealed screws along the mounting channel, with the diffuser clipping into place once the LED strip is laid inside. The profile suits architectural and residential lighting where indirect corner lighting is needed to highlight room edges, alcoves, or furniture detailing without visible LED points.

The extruded aluminium body acts as a heat sink for the LED strip, extending diode life and maintaining consistent light output over time. The white powder-coated finish blends into most painted walls and ceilings, while the frosted round diffuser provides approximately 90-degree light spread from the corner without sharp cut-off lines. The profile accepts LED strip widths up to 12mm and is supplied as a 2m length that can be cut to size on-site.

What width LED strip does it take?

The internal channel accepts LED strip up to 12mm wide. Most standard 5mm, 8mm and 10mm-wide LED strips fit with clearance for cable routing. Measure your LED strip before ordering if using a non-standard width.

Can the profile be cut to length?

Yes. The 2m aluminium extrusion can be cut to exact lengths on-site using a fine-toothed hacksaw or mitre saw with a metal-cutting blade. Cut ends should be deburred before fitting the diffuser.

How is the diffuser held in place?

The frosted round diffuser clips into the front of the aluminium channel and can be removed for LED strip installation or maintenance. No adhesive or additional fixings are required for the diffuser itself.

Is the profile suitable for outdoor use?

The Arcus is designed for interior use. The profile itself is aluminium and weatherproof, but the frosted diffuser and mounting design are optimised for indoor architectural applications rather than exterior weather exposure.
