Description

The Arcus is a 2m black anodised aluminium cover designed to protect and diffuse LED tape installations in continuous linear runs. The 16mm wide by 22mm deep profile accepts standard LED strip widths up to 12mm and provides a protective channel that shields the tape from dust, accidental contact and minor impact.

Designed for kitchen plinths, under-cabinet lighting, shelf lighting, cove details and architectural accent runs, the Arcus creates a clean linear light source rather than exposing individual LED points. The black anodised finish blends into shadow gaps and recessed details without visual competition, while the semi-translucent diffuser softens the light output and prevents visible hotspotting from individual diodes.

The aluminium extrusion acts as a passive heatsink, drawing heat away from the LED tape and helping to maintain consistent output and extend diode lifespan. At 2m per length, the profile can be cut to exact project dimensions with a hacksaw or mitre saw, and multiple lengths can be joined end-to-end using matching connectors (sold separately). The 16x22mm cross-section is low-profile enough for tight recess depths while providing sufficient internal clearance for most 12V and 24V LED tape products.
