Description

The Arcus is a 3m aluminium corner profile designed to house LED strip lighting in 90-degree internal or external corner installations. The profile measures 31x31mm in cross-section and comes in a white powder-coated finish. It mounts directly onto wall or ceiling surfaces using fixing screws through pre-drilled channels, with the LED strip inserted into the channel behind an optional diffuser.

Designed for kitchens, staircases, retail displays and architectural lighting where LED strips need to turn a corner, the Arcus provides both structural support for the strip and a method of directing and diffusing the light output. The aluminium construction dissipates heat from the LED strip more effectively than plastic extrusions, extending the operational life of the LEDs. The profile accepts LED strips up to approximately 12mm wide depending on the thickness of the strip and its backing.

The white finish integrates into painted ceilings and white-rendered walls without contrasting against the surface. The 3m length can be cut to size on-site using a hacksaw or mitre saw, allowing the profile to be fitted to exact corner dimensions without visible joins in most residential installations. The profile is supplied without end caps, diffuser or LED strip — these are sold separately and allow the installer to choose the light colour temperature and diffusion level that suits the application.

What width LED strip does it accept?

The internal channel accepts LED strips up to approximately 12mm wide, depending on the thickness and backing material of the strip. Most standard 10mm and 12mm LED strips fit without issue.

Does it come with a diffuser?

No. The profile is sold as the aluminium extrusion only. Diffusers, end caps and LED strips are sold separately, allowing you to select the diffusion level and light colour that suits your installation.

Can it be cut to size?

Yes. The 3m length can be cut using a hacksaw or mitre saw to fit exact corner dimensions. Cut ends should be deburred before fitting end caps.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

The Arcus is designed for indoor use. For outdoor or wet-location corner installations, an IP-rated profile and compatible LED strip are required.
