Description

The Arcus is a 3m aluminium corner profile designed for surface-mounting LED strip lighting at 90-degree angles where walls meet ceilings or where two walls intersect. The 16x18mm angled cross-section fits into corners and accepts LED strip tape inside the channel, with a frosted plastic diffuser covering the front face to soften the light output and hide individual LED diodes.

Designed for residential rooms, commercial corridors, retail display areas and hospitality spaces, the Arcus provides continuous linear lighting without visible fixings or exposed LED strip. The aluminium channel acts as a heatsink for the LEDs, improving lifespan and output stability compared to LED tape mounted directly onto plasterboard. The profile ships as a single 3m length and can be cut to size on site with a hacksaw or mitre saw.

The aluminium body is finished in white and the profile accepts LED strip tape up to 12mm wide (standard 10mm tape fits comfortably). End caps, mounting clips and joining connectors are available separately depending on the installation configuration. The frosted diffuser clips into the front of the channel and can be removed for cleaning or LED strip replacement. Aluminium construction keeps the profile weight low while maintaining rigidity across the 3m span.

Does the profile include LED strip tape?

No. The Arcus is a housing profile only. LED strip tape, power supplies, connectors and end caps are sold separately. Choose LED strip tape up to 12mm wide to fit inside the channel.

Can it be cut to length?

Yes. The 3m aluminium profile can be cut to size on site using a hacksaw or mitre saw. Cut the diffuser separately with a fine-tooth saw to avoid cracking the plastic.

How is it mounted?

The profile is surface-mounted using clips or adhesive tape depending on the substrate. Mounting clips are available separately and screw into the corner, with the profile then clipping onto the fixed bracket.

What width of LED strip does it accept?

The internal channel accepts LED strip tape up to 12mm wide. Standard 10mm strip tape is the most common fit and leaves clearance for the diffuser to clip in place without pressing on the LEDs.
