Description

The Arcus is a 1m surface-mount aluminium corner profile designed for LED strip installation in internal corner angles. The profile has a 16x16mm cross-section with a 45-degree internal channel that holds LED tape and a frosted polycarbonate diffuser, turning the corner itself into a continuous light source.

Designed for architectural lighting in kitchens, stairwells, retail displays and corridors, the Arcus is surface-mounted directly into the corner joint where two walls meet or where a wall meets a ceiling. The aluminium extrusion provides heat dissipation for LED strips running at 10-20W per metre, extending LED lifespan compared to taping strips directly onto plasterboard. The profile is cut to length on installation and accepts standard 8-12mm wide LED tape (sold separately).

The surface-mount fixing uses small screws or adhesive along the back of the profile, with the diffuser clipping into place after the LED strip is installed. The 16mm projection from the corner is low-profile enough to sit flush with most skirting and coving while still providing enough depth for cable runs. The white aluminium finish pairs with standard white or off-white interior paintwork without requiring additional finishing.
