Description

The Arcus is a 3m aluminium LED corner profile designed for surface mounting at the junction between walls and ceilings or between two perpendicular walls. The profile accepts LED strip tape up to 10mm wide inside a 16x16mm aluminium channel, with a frosted polycarbonate diffuser that hides the individual LED points and produces a continuous line of light along the corner.

Designed for residential and commercial corner lighting where a built-in continuous light line is needed without recessing into the wall or ceiling structure, the Arcus fits directly onto the corner surface using the mounting clips supplied. The aluminium channel acts as a heat sink for the LED strip, dissipating heat away from the tape and prolonging LED lifespan. The frosted diffuser clips into the front of the profile and can be removed for cleaning or LED strip replacement.

The 3m length can be cut to size on-site using a hacksaw or mitre saw, allowing the profile to be fitted to exact corner lengths without visible joints in runs under 3m. For longer runs, multiple profiles can be butted end-to-end with the LED strip running continuously through the join. The white-painted aluminium finish pairs with standard white ceilings and walls without drawing attention to the profile itself, keeping the focus on the light output rather than the fitting.

What LED strip does it take?

The Arcus accepts LED strip tape up to 10mm wide. Most standard 12V and 24V LED strip tapes sold for home installation are 8mm or 10mm wide and will fit. LED strip is sold separately and is not included with the profile.

Can the profile be cut to length?

Yes. The 3m aluminium profile can be cut to any length using a hacksaw or mitre saw, allowing it to fit corners shorter than 3m without visible joints. Cut ends should be deburred before installation.

How is it mounted?

The profile is surface-mounted onto the corner using the mounting clips supplied. The clips are fixed to the wall or ceiling first, then the profile clicks onto the clips. No recessing into the wall or ceiling structure is required.

Is the diffuser removable?

Yes. The frosted polycarbonate diffuser clips into the front of the aluminium channel and can be removed for cleaning or to replace the LED strip inside without removing the entire profile from the wall.
