Description

The Arcus is a 2m aluminium corner profile designed to house LED strip lighting in internal corners at 90 degrees. The profile measures 16x16mm at the corner joint and includes a frosted polycarbonate diffuser that clips into the channel to smooth the individual LED points into a continuous line of light.

Designed for surface-mount installation in the corner where two walls meet or a wall meets a ceiling, the Arcus suits residential, retail and commercial interiors where architectural lighting needs to follow the perimeter of a room or run along alcove edges. The 2m length can be cut to size on site or joined end-to-end using connector clips to run longer distances.

The aluminium extrusion provides both structural support and passive heat dissipation for the LED strip, helping to extend the lifespan of the LEDs by drawing heat away from the diodes. The white powder-coated finish blends into most painted wall and ceiling surfaces, while the frosted diffuser softens the light output and reduces glare when viewed from an angle. The profile accepts LED strip widths up to 12mm, with the strip fixed inside the channel using adhesive backing or aluminium tape before the diffuser is clipped into place.

The channel accepts LED strips up to 12mm wide. Most standard 12V and 24V LED strip products sit comfortably within the profile with room to spare for cable routing.

Is the LED strip included?

No. The Arcus profile is sold as the housing and diffuser only. LED strip, power supply and any required connectors or controllers are sold separately.

Can it be cut to length?

Yes. The aluminium extrusion can be cut using a hacksaw or mitre saw to fit shorter runs or to join at specific angles. The diffuser can be scored and snapped to match the cut length of the profile.

How is it fixed to the corner?

The profile is surface-mounted using screws or adhesive pads into the 90-degree corner where two surfaces meet. Some installers use construction adhesive or silicone for a no-screw finish, though mechanical fixing is recommended for runs longer than 1m.
