Arcana-2 6W LED Outdoor Wall Light 4000K IP65 - White

The Arcana-2 is a surface-mounted LED outdoor wall light built from powder-coated white die-cast aluminium with a transparent tempered glass diffuser panel set into a rectangular frame. The integrated 6W LED sits behind the glass panel, producing 4000K cool white light through a horizontal slot cut into the white metal housing. The IP65 rating seals the fitting against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction.

Designed for perimeter walls, garage entrances, porch sides and pathway lighting where a low-profile fitting is needed, the Arcana-2 mounts flush to vertical surfaces on two fixing points concealed behind the rectangular backplate. The 225mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting clear of gates and doors that open outwards, while the 130mm width fits narrow sections of brickwork between windows or doorframes. The 4000K output gives neutral visibility suited to security and functional lighting rather than decorative accent.

The die-cast aluminium construction weighs approximately 0.8kg and handles coastal and urban UK weather without rusting or requiring repainting. The white powder coat is pre-finished and matched to RAL 9016, pairing cleanly with white render, UPVC trim and contemporary cladding materials. The tempered glass panel is sealed with a gasket to maintain the IP65 rating across the face of the fitting, and the LED is non-replaceable but rated for 25,000 hours of continuous operation at full output.

Can this be used in a bathroom or shower room?

The IP65 rating protects against water jets and dust, making it suitable for exterior walls. For bathroom use, check the zone classification — IP65 fittings are generally acceptable for Zone 2 and outside zones, but not inside a shower cubicle (Zone 1).

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation. At 4 hours per day this represents around 17 years of use before noticeable degradation.

What colour is the light?

The Arcana-2 outputs 4000K, which is a cool white or neutral white. This sits between warm white (2700K-3000K) and daylight white (5000K+), giving good visibility without the yellow tone of warm white or the blue cast of daylight LEDs.

How is it wired?

The fitting surface-mounts to a wall with mains cable fed through a rear entry point in the backplate. Standard UK 230V mains connection. A qualified electrician should install outdoor lighting to ensure the IP rating is maintained and the circuit is properly protected.
