Description

The Knightsbridge 6-gang grid faceplate is a 147.5mm square brushed brass cover plate designed to accommodate six modular grid switches or sockets within the Flat Plate grid system. The faceplate sits 3.5mm proud of the wall once fitted, giving an ultra-flat profile that minimises shadow lines and projection into the room.

This faceplate is used in conjunction with two GDF002F grid frames (sold separately), which mount behind the plate and hold the individual grid modules in position. Common configurations include six rocker switches, a mix of switches and data sockets, or combinations of dimmer modules and USB outlets. The grid system allows electrical layouts to be customised to specific room requirements without needing multiple separate faceplates.

Constructed from premium-grade steel with a brushed brass finish, the faceplate coordinates with the wider Knightsbridge Flat Plate range. The brushed finish diffuses reflections and pairs well with both contemporary and traditional interiors where warm metallic accents are desired. The plate is fixed to the wall using four visible screws at the corners, each matched to the brushed brass finish to reduce visual contrast.

This 6-gang faceplate requires two GDF002F grid frames (sold separately). Each GDF002F frame holds three grid modules, so two frames accommodate the six apertures in this plate.

What grid modules fit into this system?

The Knightsbridge Flat Plate grid system supports modular switches, sockets, dimmer modules, USB outlets, data sockets and blank plates. All modules must be from the Flat Plate grid range to fit correctly behind this faceplate.

Is the faceplate screwless?

No. The faceplate is fixed using four visible screws at the corners, matched to the brushed brass finish. Knightsbridge produces a separate screwless range, but this grid faceplate uses traditional screw-fixing.

What is the IP20 rating?

IP20 indicates the faceplate is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It is not rated for bathroom zones or outdoor use.
