Description

The 432 Ways Street track ceiling light is a slim cylindrical spotlight in a brushed brass finish, 6cm across and 11cm tall, with a focused 29° beam for a clear, defined pool of light. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: it draws 6.7W and gives 773 lumens, and a CRI of 90 means food, fabrics and colours look true rather than flat. It comes in two colour temperatures, 2700K for a warmer glow or 3000K for a slightly crisper white, so you can choose the version that suits your room.

We think it works especially well in a kitchen, where a row of these spotlights along a track lights a worktop, an island or open shelving with clean, even light, and the 29° beam keeps that light where it is useful. It is for indoor use and, rated IP20, for dry rooms only. It is one part of the 432 Ways Street system and needs three things, each sold separately: the 432 Ways Street 48V track it fits, which carries the spotlight across the ceiling and brings it power; a 432 Ways Street 48V power supply for the track, which feeds the track; and a remote 48V DC driver, which runs the spotlight at 48V DC from the mains.

It runs at 48V DC and is Protection Class III. Because it is wired in to the mains through its driver, it is for a qualified electrician to install. It is DALI dimmable, so you will need a compatible DALI control system to dim it. The brushed brass finish has a soft, warm sheen. Decide on 2700K or 3000K before you order, and order the track, power supply and driver at the same time so everything is ready for your electrician. The track in our photographs is not included.
