The Knightsbridge 4-gang grid faceplate is a brushed chrome cover plate designed for modular grid switch systems, measuring 147.5mm wide by 87.5mm high with a 3.5mm projection from the wall. Built from premium-grade steel with a directional brushed chrome finish, the faceplate accepts four grid module positions and coordinates with the Flat Plate range.

Grid faceplates allow custom switch and socket configurations by mounting individual grid modules (switches, dimmers, sockets, data ports) onto a separate frame behind the cover plate. This 4-gang version accommodates combinations such as two switches plus two sockets, or four switches side-by-side, depending on the modules selected. The system requires one GDF002F frame (sold separately) to hold the modules in place before the faceplate clips on.

The ultra-flat 3.5mm profile reduces the wall projection compared to standard screw-fixed plates, giving a cleaner flush appearance once installed. The brushed chrome finish shows a horizontal grain texture that softens reflections and pairs well with contemporary interiors in cooler metallic tones. This faceplate requires one GDF002F frame (sold separately) to hold the grid modules, plus your choice of grid switches, sockets or other modules to fill the four positions. The frame fixes to the back box first, modules clip into the frame, then the faceplate clips over the assembly.

Can I mix different module types?
