Description

The Knightsbridge 4-gang grid faceplate provides mounting for four modular grid inserts behind a single brushed chrome cover plate. The faceplate measures 149.3mm wide by 89mm high and accepts any combination of Knightsbridge grid modules (switches, dimmers, sockets, data ports) to create a custom control plate tailored to specific room requirements.

Designed for use with the Knightsbridge Grid System, the faceplate requires one GDF002F sub-frame (sold separately) which fixes to a UK standard 25mm back box. Grid modules clip into the sub-frame, then the brushed chrome cover plate screws onto the front. This modular approach allows installers to configure exactly the number and type of controls needed without being locked into fixed multi-gang layouts.

The brushed chrome finish on premium-grade steel coordinates with Knightsbridge's Square Edge range and provides a low-sheen metallic accent that suits both contemporary and transitional interiors. The 10.5mm projection from the wall once installed gives a slim profile compared to traditional screw-fixed plates. The faceplate carries a 25-year warranty and an IP20 rating for dry indoor use.

What sub-frame is required?

This faceplate requires one Knightsbridge GDF002F sub-frame (sold separately). The sub-frame fixes to a standard UK 25mm back box and provides the mounting clips for up to four grid modules.

What grid modules fit this faceplate?

Any Knightsbridge modular grid inserts fit this plate: switches, dimmers, sockets, RJ45 data ports, TV/satellite outlets, blank plates. The system allows any combination of modules up to the four-gang capacity.

Can I mix different module types?

Yes. The grid system is designed for mixed configurations, so you can combine (for example) two light switches, one dimmer and one USB socket behind a single faceplate.

Is this compatible with other manufacturers' grid systems?

No. This faceplate is designed exclusively for the Knightsbridge Grid System and will not accept modules or sub-frames from other manufacturers.
