Description

The Knightsbridge 2-gang modular faceplate in pearl accepts two 25 x 50mm euro module inserts or one 50 x 50mm euro module, allowing custom configurations for TV, data, HDMI, USB or telephone installations. The flat plate design sits 2.5mm proud of the wall once fitted, giving a low-profile finish compared to traditional raised faceplates.

Designed for residential, hospitality and commercial AV installations where modular wiring points need to match other Knightsbridge pearl-finish switches and sockets in the same room. The 87.5 x 87.5mm faceplate sits on a standard UK 2-gang back box and uses two slotted fixing screws that remain visible once installed. The built-in gasket seals the plate edge to the wall surface, preventing dust ingress behind the faceplate.

The pearl finish is a warm off-white tone with a subtle metallic sheen, sitting between pure white and light grey. Premium-grade steel construction gives the plate rigidity and prevents flex when modules are inserted or removed. The faceplate carries an earth terminal for connecting the back box earth to the faceplate, meeting IP20 rating for general indoor installation. Required back box depth depends on the specific euro modules being fitted — data and HDMI modules typically need 35mm minimum depth.

The faceplate accepts two 25 x 50mm euro modules side-by-side, or one 50 x 50mm euro module. This covers standard data (RJ45), HDMI, USB, coaxial, telephone and blank modules. Euro modules are sold separately and clip into the aperture from the front.

What back box depth is required?

Back box depth depends on the specific euro modules being fitted. Data and HDMI modules typically need 35mm minimum depth. Telephone and coaxial modules can fit in shallower 25mm boxes. Check the euro module specifications before ordering the back box.

Is this a screwless faceplate?
