Description

The Basis Rot is a 38.2cm linear LED track light with a swivel head, integrated 12W 4000K LED module, and white aluminium housing. The fitting mounts onto Maytoni Unity single-phase track systems via a rotatable connector, allowing the entire 38.2cm linear head to be angled along the track after installation.

Designed for retail, gallery, office and commercial interiors where directional light is needed along a flexible track run, the Basis Rot provides neutral white 4000K output through a matte polycarbonate diffuser that spreads light evenly along the 38.2cm length. The swivel function lets the fitting be aimed at wall displays, product shelving or work surfaces without repositioning the track itself. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations.

The aluminium construction keeps the fitting lightweight at 4.6cm height and 3.3cm width, minimising visual bulk on the track while providing adequate heat dissipation for the integrated LED. The white finish pairs with white or neutral ceiling tracks in contemporary commercial and residential spaces. The 12W output and 4000K colour temperature suit task-oriented environments where colour accuracy matters more than warmth.

Frequently Asked

Is this compatible with all track systems?

No. The Basis Rot is designed specifically for Maytoni Unity single-phase track systems. It will not fit three-circuit track or other manufacturers' track profiles without an adapter.

Can the head be angled after installation?

Yes. The fitting mounts on a rotatable connector that allows the entire 38.2cm linear head to swivel along the track axis, directing light where needed without repositioning the track.

What colour temperature is the LED?

The integrated LED is 4000K, a neutral white that suits commercial, retail and office environments where colour accuracy is important. This is cooler than the 2700-3000K warm white common in residential lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the track system's power supply and dimming controls. The LED module itself supports dimming when paired with compatible track dimming systems. Contact us to confirm compatibility with your specific track setup.
