The Zubialde LED wall light is a slim, rectangular panel of brown wood set over a black steel backplate, and the light comes from behind it. It measures 36cm long and 8cm across, and sits just 5cm out from the wall, so it reads as a flat strip of warm timber rather than a bulky fitting. The integrated LEDs draw 12W and give 1,550 lumens at 3000K, a warm white that bathes the wall around the panel in a soft halo. There is no bulb to buy or change. Rated IP20, it is made for indoor, dry rooms only, so it belongs in the living spaces of the house and away from bathrooms and the garden.

We think it works best where you want light that sets a mood rather than flooding a room: either side of a sofa, beside a bed, along a hallway or above a sideboard, where the glow can fall across the wall. Because the light spills outwards from behind the wood, the LEDs themselves stay hidden from view, and a pair gives a calm, balanced look.
