Description
The Zon is a universal pendant cord set consisting of a matte gold aluminium canopy, a cylindrical aluminium cord grip, and a 175cm adjustable cable terminating in an E27 lampholder. The cord grip is a 150mm tall cylinder that sits mid-way along the cable run, acting as both a decorative accent and a functional counterweight when paired with larger shades or glass.
Designed for pairing with separate shades, glass globes or exposed filament bulbs, the Zon allows custom pendant configurations over dining tables, kitchen islands, bedside positions and entrance halls. The 175cm cable can be shortened during installation by looping excess cable inside the canopy, giving drop flexibility from 400mm to the full 1750mm depending on ceiling height and the position of furniture below. The E27 socket accepts any standard Edison screw bulb up to 60W.
The matte gold finish on the aluminium has a low-sheen satin surface that diffuses reflections and pairs comfortably with warm brass tones, brushed gold handles and warm-toned timber. The canopy diameter of 150mm conceals most standard UK ceiling roses, and the cylindrical cord grip adds visual weight to the cable without the bulk of a traditional chain suspension. The aluminium construction keeps the total fitting weight to approximately 300g, allowing it to be paired with heavier glass or ceramic shades without overloading the ceiling fixing.

Frequently Asked
What is this product and how is it used?
The Zon is a pendant cord set, not a complete light fitting. It provides the canopy, cable, cord grip and E27 lampholder, but you supply the shade, glass globe or exposed bulb separately. It allows custom pendant configurations where standard pre-assembled pendants do not offer the shade style or drop length needed.
What bulb does it take?
The lampholder accepts any standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with LED filament bulbs in the 4-8W range and 2200K-2700K colour temperature for a warm decorative effect.
Can the cable length be adjusted?
Yes. The 175cm cable can be shortened during installation by looping excess cable inside the ceiling canopy. This allows drop heights from approximately 400mm to the full 1750mm, depending on ceiling height and the position of the table or counter below.
What is the cylindrical piece mid-way along the cable?
That is the cord grip, a 150mm tall aluminium cylinder that acts as both a decorative accent and a counterweight when paired with heavier shades or glass. It prevents the cable from sagging and adds visual interest to the vertical cable run.
