Description

The Zig Zag is a linear wall bar that lights by reflection rather than glare. Its aluminium body runs the built-in LED along a concealed channel aimed at the wall behind, so the fitting stays dark while a soft band of light spreads out above and below it. Lit, it lifts a quiet wash across the plaster; off, the textured face reads as a natural stone length sitting close and flat.

This mid square size is 530mm long, 75mm tall and stands 45mm clear of the wall, a proportion that carries a longer stretch of light over a sideboard, along a landing or beside a bed. The finish is a travertine stone effect, pale and lightly grained, so unlit it has more surface character than a plain painted plate while staying calm and neutral.

The whole piece is aluminium under a travertine-effect powder coating, body and diffuser alike, with no separate shade. Its integrated LED draws 23W for 2100 lumens at 3000K warm white, with a colour rendering index above 90 so tones read true, and no lamp is ever changed. It switches on and off at a fixed level without dimming and carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor rooms, arriving ready to mount.

An indirect wash rather than a direct beam. The LED hides inside the bar and points at the wall, so light spreads softly above and below in a warm 3000K tone, with a colour rendering index above 90 keeping surfaces true and glare very low.

What is the travertine finish like?

It is a pale, lightly grained stone effect applied over the aluminium, so the fitting reads as natural travertine rather than flat paint. Off, that texture gives it more presence on the wall; lit, the light spills from the concealed edge as usual.

Does it need a bulb, and can it be dimmed?

No bulb is fitted; a 23W integrated LED giving 2100 lumens is built in and included. It switches on and off at a set output and does not dim on its own, though a compatible external control can be discussed.
