Description

The Zig Zag is a round wall light, a flat aluminium disc that sits close against the wall and hides its light source behind the rim. Rather than face a lamp outward, it pushes the whole output sideways so a ring of soft indirect light spills out all around the edge and washes the surface it hangs on. Lit, the disc reads as a bright halo with a shadowed centre; switched off, it is a plain circle with no visible bulb.

This is the smallest version at 330mm across, standing 90mm off the wall on a shallow 50mm projection, so it holds a low profile. The all-round wash suits a hallway, a stairwell, a bedroom or a spot above a sideboard, where the aim is broad indirect light rather than a hard point. Its black finish draws a crisp dark shape when off and frames the halo of light when on.

Body and diffuser are formed as one aluminium piece in a black powder-coated finish, machined to shed its own heat. Light comes from an integrated LED giving 1300 lumens at 3000K warm white, with a colour rendering index above 90 and a rated life of 50,000 hours, so tones stay true and no bulb is ever bought or fitted. Total draw is 12.5W. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

What kind of light does the Zig Zag give?

A soft indirect wash. The lamp hides behind the rim and throws its light onto the wall all around the fitting, giving 1300 lumens at 3000K warm white with a colour rendering index above 90. It lights the area around it rather than glaring as a bright source.

Does it need a bulb?

No. The LED is built in and included, sealed into the aluminium body, so there is nothing separate to buy or replace. It is rated for around 50,000 hours of normal use.

Can it be dimmed?

The driver is not listed as dimmable, so we would treat it as a fixed output unless a compatible dimming supply is confirmed. We are glad to advise before you order.

How big is it and where does it suit?

It measures 330mm across and stands 90mm off the wall on a 50mm projection. The all-round wash suits a hallway, a stairwell, a bedroom or a wall above a sideboard.
