Description

The Zero Line is a slim linear light that fits on a ceiling or on a wall: a long white bar with a narrow opening for the light running its full length. It is 102cm long, 7.5cm across and just 3cm high, so it sits close to the surface it is fixed to. The light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 22.2W and gives 1280 lumens of warm white light at 2700K, with a CRI of 90, so colours and skin tones look natural under it.

We think it works best wherever a long, even line of light suits the room. On a living room wall it can run above a sofa or a low cabinet, and in a bedroom it gives a quiet light above the bed. Fixed to the ceiling over a dining table, its length follows the line of the table. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The white finish keeps it plain against a white ceiling or a pale wall, so the line of light is what you notice rather than the fitting itself.

It comes in two versions: Non-dimmable, and DALI or push dimmable. Choose the DALI or push dimmable version if you want to set the brightness, either from a DALI lighting control system or with a push switch; the Non-dimmable version simply switches on and off. Both run on 230V mains power and are wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. Its low height and plain white finish suit both positions, so you can settle on wall or ceiling once you know the room. Before you order, measure the run you have in mind: at 102cm long, it needs a clear stretch of wall or ceiling.
