Description

The Zephyr is a trimless recessed downlight cast in gypsum, made to disappear into the ceiling. It has no visible frame or rim: the plaster body is set into a plasterboard ceiling and skimmed over, so once painted only the small square light opening shows. A single integrated LED sits behind that opening and throws a direct 56 degree beam downward, reading as a clean square of warm light with no fitting around it.

The light is a warm 3000K white at over 90 CRI, so colours stay true, and the module gives 1200 lumens of raw output for around 670 lumens of usable light on a 50,000 hour rating. It runs on a separate driver, which is included, and switches simply on and off rather than dimming. Being gypsum, the matt white face can be painted or varnished to match the ceiling exactly, and the LED module is replaceable by a qualified installer.

The fitting is a 138.5mm square that recesses 54mm into the ceiling void, rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms and cleared from 0 to plus 40 degrees. We supply it with the LED module and driver ready to wire; flush and frameless, it suits a hallway, living room or bedroom where you want light without a visible fixture.
