Description

The Zephra is a 105cm circular LED pendant light built around a continuous hoop frame in white metal with an integrated 82W 3000K LED strip running the full circumference. The LED sits behind a frosted diffuser that wraps the entire inner edge of the ring, casting even ambient light downward and outward in a 360-degree spread.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and commercial spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Zephra functions as both task and ambient lighting. The 105cm diameter suits tables 180-220cm long or kitchen islands 2-2.5m in length, providing overhead coverage without overwhelming the space. The 35mm profile gives the fitting a slim, architectural presence when viewed from the side. The pendant hangs from a central suspension cable with the canopy fitting standard UK ceiling roses.

The white finish on the metal frame pairs cleanly with contemporary, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors. The frosted diffuser softens the LED output and prevents glare when seated beneath the fitting. At 3000K colour temperature the LED produces a warm white light suitable for residential dining and hospitality settings. The IP20 rating limits use to indoor, dry locations only.

The Zephra carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux Italy, covering both the LED driver and the structural frame. The integrated LED is not user-replaceable but is rated for approximately 50,000 hours of use, equivalent to around 17 years at 8 hours per day.

The Zephra works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. For dining tables the pendant typically hangs 700-800mm above the table surface, which requires sufficient ceiling clearance to avoid the fitting sitting too low in the room.

Can the LED be replaced?

The LED is integrated into the frame and is not user-replaceable. It is rated for approximately 50,000 hours of use, equivalent to around 17 years at 8 hours per day. If the LED fails within the 5-year warranty period, contact Niori for warranty support.
