Description

The Zephra is an 81cm circular LED pendant light built around a continuous white powder-coated aluminium ring housing an integrated 55W LED strip. An opal polycarbonate diffuser wraps the inner circumference of the ring, casting an even wash of 3000K warm white light downwards and outwards without visible LED points or hotspots.

Designed for open-plan dining areas, kitchen islands and reception spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Zephra provides both ambient and task lighting from a single fitting. The 81cm diameter gives sufficient light coverage for dining tables up to 2m long or kitchen islands up to 2.5m, while the slimline 35mm profile minimises visual bulk. The suspension cables are adjustable on installation, allowing the fitting to hang at the optimum height relative to the surface below.

The white finish on the aluminium frame pairs cleanly with both warm and cool interior palettes, and the opal diffuser softens the light output to reduce glare at eye level when seated. The integrated LED runs on 230V mains and is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge or LED-specific dimmer switch. At 55W the fitting delivers sufficient brightness for functional task lighting while remaining efficient compared to multi-bulb chandeliers of similar scale.

Is the Zephra dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge or LED-specific dimmer switch. Check your dimmer manufacturer's compatibility list before pairing to avoid flicker or buzzing.

What ceiling height does it require?

The suspension cables are adjustable on installation. For dining tables or kitchen islands the fitting typically hangs 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. Lower ceilings may accommodate the fitting if the cables are shortened during installation.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED is integrated into the ring frame and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 30,000+ hours of operation, equivalent to approximately 20 years at typical domestic usage levels.

What's the light output?

The 55W integrated LED provides warm white light at 3000K. The opal diffuser distributes the light evenly around the 81cm circumference, giving sufficient coverage for dining tables up to 2m long or kitchen islands up to 2.5m.
