Description

The Zephra is a 61cm diameter circular LED pendant light with an integrated 48W 3000K LED strip set inside a matt black powder-coated metal ring. The opal polycarbonate diffuser wraps the inner circumference of the ring, creating an even band of warm white light that projects both downward and outward. The 35mm ring depth keeps the profile low, and the clear PVC suspension cable allows the fitting to appear to float when hung from a white ceiling.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas where ambient and task lighting overlap, the Zephra provides diffused illumination without glare. The 61cm diameter suits tables 120-180cm long, and the dimmable LED allows output to be adjusted between bright task light for meal preparation and softer ambient light for evening dining. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

The matt black finish on the powder-coated metal ring absorbs rather than reflects light, keeping attention on the diffused band of illumination rather than the fixture itself. The opal polycarbonate diffuser hides the LED strip completely when viewed from below or the side, so no individual diodes are visible. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm white comparable to halogen, pairing well with timber, warm greys and brass accents in contemporary and mid-century interiors.

What is the maximum drop from the ceiling?

The suspension cable length is adjustable during installation. Standard installations hang the pendant 700-900mm above a dining table surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. Check the packaging or contact us for the exact maximum drop available with the supplied cable.
