Description

The Zephra is a 105cm diameter circular LED suspension light built around a single continuous ring of satin brass-finished metal, with an integrated 55W LED strip behind an opal polycarbonate diffuser. The ring measures 35mm in height and sits 995mm below the ceiling rose on a transparent PVC cable that makes the brass ring appear to float in the air.

Designed for large dining tables, kitchen islands, reception areas and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher, the Zephra provides both ambient and task light depending on placement. The 3000K warm-white LED output casts even illumination across a 2.5-3m diameter zone directly beneath the ring, making it particularly effective over rectangular tables up to 2.4m long or circular tables up to 1.4m diameter. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor spaces only.

The satin brass finish is applied to a metal frame and shows as a soft gold tone under warm interior lighting, deepening to a richer brass under cooler daylight. The opal polycarbonate diffuser prevents direct view of the LED strip and distributes light evenly around the full 360-degree circumference of the ring. The 55W integrated LED is non-dimmable and runs on 230V mains without requiring a separate driver box. Manufactured by Ideal Lux in Italy, the Zephra carries a 5-year warranty.

No. The integrated 55W LED runs at a fixed output on 230V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 995mm drop from ceiling to the bottom of the ring works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. For dining tables, the ring typically sits 700-850mm above the table surface depending on total ceiling height.

What size table does it suit?

The 105cm diameter ring provides even light coverage across a zone approximately 2.5-3m in diameter. This suits rectangular dining tables up to 2.4m long or circular tables up to 1.4m diameter.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

The transparent PVC cable can be shortened during installation to suit lower ceilings, but cannot be lengthened beyond the 995mm supplied length without replacing the cable entirely.
