Description

The Zephira is a 1005mm linear pendant built around a slender satin brass bar supporting two white blown glass globes. Each globe measures 150mm diameter and is acid-etched to diffuse light softly in all directions, with the G9 bulbs (sold separately) housed inside the glass. The brass bar runs the full length and terminates in ceiling canopy fixings at each end, suspending on a transparent Teflon-sheathed cable adjustable up to 2000mm drop.

Designed for installation above kitchen islands, dining tables and bar counters, the Zephira works in spaces where a single pendant would leave dark corners but a multi-pendant cluster would overcrowd. The 1005mm span covers a typical 900mm island or a four-seater dining table with balanced light distribution. The satin brass finish is brushed rather than polished, reducing glare under daylight and pairing comfortably with both warm wood tones and cooler greys in contemporary kitchens.

The two glass globes sit symmetrically along the bar, each held by a brass collar that screws onto the bar structure. The blown glass shows slight variation in opacity between individual pieces, giving each globe a subtly different glow when lit. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor environments only. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific G9 bulbs chosen and the dimmer model in use.

What bulbs does the Zephira take?

The fitting takes two G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with 3-5W LED G9 bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for dining and kitchen applications. Check the maximum wattage rating in the installation instructions included with the fitting.

Is the Zephira dimmable?

The fitting itself is rated as dimmable. Actual dimming performance depends on the G9 bulbs chosen and the dimmer switch model. Not all G9 LED bulbs dim smoothly, so confirm bulb compatibility with your dimmer before purchasing.

What installation height works best?

For a dining table, suspend the fitting 700-800mm above the table surface. For a kitchen island, 750-900mm above the worktop is typical. The 2000mm cable allows adjustment to suit ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards.

Can the cable length be shortened?

Yes. The transparent Teflon cable is adjustable during installation and any excess can be stored within the ceiling canopy. The cable cannot be lengthened beyond the supplied 2000mm without electrical modification.
