Description

The Yuyun S/9S is a tall pendant light made of nine stacked tiers, each a rounded shade wrapped in beige thread and set on a slim stem, finished in Satin Beige & Beige Thread. It is built from aluminium, steel and cotton, and measures 125cm tall and 26cm across, hanging on a drop of up to 200cm. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 64.8W and gives 2023 lumens at 2400K, a warm, low glow that comes through the thread, and its CRI of 90 keeps colours looking true beneath it.

Its long, narrow shape suits a living room or a dining room, where one tall column of light can hang beside a sofa, over a sideboard or in a quiet corner. At just 26cm across, it gives plenty of presence for the little width it takes, so it works where a wide pendant would crowd the space. The warm 2400K light is made for evenings: soft enough to sit near, yet bright enough at 2023 lumens to light part of the room rather than simply decorate it. It is an indoor pendant rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The frame is aluminium and steel, and the tiers are wrapped in cotton. It runs on mains power, wired in by an electrician through a 24V DC driver, and that driver comes in its canopy: the pendant is supplied without a canopy of its own, so it needs a Yuyun power-supply canopy with its 24V driver, sold separately, which takes the mains supply and feeds the pendant at 24V DC. It is a Class III fitting. As a mains fitting it is for a qualified electrician to install, so we suggest ordering the canopy and pendant together, letting your electrician fit both in a single visit.
