Description

The Yuyun S/9L/I is a tall fabric LED pendant light: nine woven tiers stacked on one slender stem, each a wide, shallow shade of beige cotton thread, in a satin beige finish. It is 181cm tall and 42cm across, and it hangs on a drop of up to 200cm. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 2160 lumens from 64.8W at a very warm 2400K, with a CRI of 90, so wood, fabric and skin look natural under it.

We see it in a living room or a dining room with the height to give it space, where a tall column of soft, warm light can fill a corner or rise beside a seating area. At 181cm tall it reads as a feature from across the room, and at 2400K its glow suits relaxed evenings rather than task work. The foot dimmer is built into its cord, so you can bring the light down for dinner or a film with your foot, without crossing to a wall switch. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

Each of the nine tiers is woven from beige cotton thread in an open pattern, so the column keeps a soft, textured look even when it is switched off. It is made from aluminium, steel and cotton, in satin beige with beige thread, and it runs at 230V and is Class II. It runs on mains power and must be wired in by a qualified electrician. One practical note: the foot dimmer sits on the floor on its cord, so choose a spot where it is easy to reach with your foot and clear of chairs and walkways.
