Description

The Yuyun S/7L/I is a tall pendant light made of seven stacked shades of beige cotton thread, each one widest at its middle and tapering towards the top and bottom. The frame is aluminium and steel, finished in Satin Beige & Beige Thread. Its light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It runs at 50.4W and gives 1680lm at a warm 2400K, with a CRI of 90, so wood, fabric and skin tones look natural. The pendant is 144cm tall and 42cm across, and it hangs on a drop of up to 200cm.

With its height and its column of shades, this fabric LED pendant suits a dining room, hung over the table. It also suits a living room, where it brings a soft glow to a seating area or a quiet corner. The cord carries an integrated foot dimmer, so you can turn the light down for a calm evening or up when you need more of it, simply with your foot. The light sits inside the thread shades, and at 2400K it is a warm, low-key light that suits long dinners and evenings in. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The Yuyun S/7L/I runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician. It is a Class II fitting, so it does not need an earth connection. Aluminium and steel form the frame, and the cotton thread gives each shade its open, woven look in a soft beige that sits easily with natural wood, linen and plaster walls. Before you order, measure from your ceiling to the table or floor. The pendant alone is 144cm tall and its drop reaches 200cm, so it wants a room with generous ceiling height.
