Description

The Yuyun S/7L is a tall LED pendant light of seven woven cotton tiers stacked on a slim metal stem, each tier a wide, shallow shade that narrows towards its top and bottom. It is made of aluminium, steel and cotton in a Satin Beige & Beige Thread finish, so the metalwork and the thread share one soft, warm tone. The pendant is 144cm tall and 42cm across, and it hangs on a maximum drop of 200cm. Its light is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: it draws 50.4W and gives 1680lm at 2400K, a warm, low glow, with a CRI of 90, so wood, fabric and skin look natural beneath it.

We see it hanging over a dining table or in a living room, where its seven glowing tiers give a long column of warm light. At 144cm tall, it suits a room with generous ceiling height. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only. The pendant comes without its canopy, so you will need a Yuyun power-supply canopy with its 24V driver, sold separately: the driver turns the mains supply into the 24V DC the pendant runs on, and the pendant will not work without it.

The frame is aluminium and steel, and the shades are cotton thread woven into an open lattice that lets the light glow softly through every tier. It is a Class III fitting running at 24V DC, powered from the mains through its driver and wired in by a qualified electrician. When you order, add the canopy and driver alongside the pendant, and check your ceiling height against its 144cm length and 200cm maximum drop before deciding where it hangs.
