Description

The Yuyun S/7C/I is a tall pendant light of seven stacked shades, large and small in turn, in beige thread over a satin beige frame. It measures 126cm tall and 42cm across, and hangs on a drop of up to 200cm. Its integrated LED needs no bulb: it draws 50.4W and gives 1634 lumens of very warm 2400K light, with a CRI of 90, so wood, fabric and skin tones look natural. When it is on, the light glows softly through the thread of every tier.

We would hang it over a dining table or in a living room, where its height carries the eye upwards and its warm glow suits long evenings. At 126cm tall it needs a generous ceiling height and clear space beneath it, so measure your room before you set the drop. It dims with the integrated foot dimmer on the cord, so you can lower the light with your foot rather than at a wall switch. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

It is made from aluminium, steel and cotton, finished in satin beige with beige thread, a soft pairing that sits easily beside natural wood, linen and stone, and just as easily beside darker painted walls. It runs on 230V mains power, is a Class II fitting, and is wired in to the mains, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. Agree its position over the table or seating with your electrician before it goes up, and choose the drop, up to 200cm, to suit the room.
