Description

The Yuyun S/7C is a tall pendant light made as one column of seven round, woven tiers, alternating large and small, stacked on a single slim stem and hung from one cable. It is made of aluminium, steel and cotton, in a Satin Beige & Beige Thread finish, and each tier is wound with beige thread that lets the light glow softly through. The column is 126cm tall and 42cm across, on a maximum drop of 200cm. Its light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: it draws 50.4W and gives 1634 lumens at 2400K, a deep, warm white, with a CRI of 90, so colours look true under it.

We see it over a dining table, where the column gives the table a focal point, or in a living room with the ceiling height to let it hang free. The 200cm maximum drop lets you set how low it sits. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The pendant comes without its canopy: it needs a Yuyun power-supply canopy with its 24V driver, sold separately, and that driver turns mains power into the 24V DC the pendant runs on. It will not light without one, so order the two together.

Power is mains, wired in by an electrician through the 24V DC driver in the canopy, and the pendant itself runs at 24V DC as a Class III fitting. Mains fittings like this are for a qualified electrician to install. The seven tiers sit one above another on a fine stem, with a slim metal tip finishing the column beneath the lowest tier, and the satin beige metalwork and beige thread keep the whole light in one soft, natural tone. Measure from ceiling to where you want the lowest tier to sit, so you can set the drop for your room.
