Description

The Yuyun S/11S is a tall fabric LED pendant light: a single column of eleven woven tiers of beige cotton thread, stacked on a slim central stem. It is 149cm tall and 26cm across, with a maximum drop of 200cm, so it reads as one tall line of light from top to bottom. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 79.2W and gives 2473 lumens at 2400K, a very warm, low glow. With a CRI of 90, the colours of wood, fabric and skin look natural under it.

We see it in a living room or a dining room, hung where its height counts: beside a sofa, in a corner by a sideboard, at the end of a dining table, or against a plain wall where the light filters warmly through the thread. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. The pendant comes without a canopy of its own, so you will also need a Yuyun power-supply canopy with its 24V driver, sold separately, which takes the mains supply and feeds the pendant at 24V DC. The pendant cannot light without it, so please order the two together.

It is made of aluminium, steel and cotton, finished in Satin Beige & Beige Thread, so the woven tiers have a soft, natural texture around the slim central stem. The pendant runs at 24V DC and is wired in to the mains by an electrician, through that 24V DC driver, so it is a job for a qualified electrician to install. Before you order, measure your ceiling height. At 149cm tall with a maximum drop of 200cm, this is a pendant for a room with generous height, where the full column can hang clear of heads and furniture.
