Description

The Yuyun S/11L is a tall fabric LED pendant light: eleven stacked, lens-shaped shades of woven cotton thread on a slim frame of aluminium and steel. Its finish is Satin Beige & Beige Thread, so the frame and the cotton share one soft, warm tone. It is 217cm tall and 42cm across, with a drop of up to 200cm. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 79.2W and gives 2640lm at a warm 2400K, and its CRI of 90 keeps wood, fabric and skin tones looking true as the light glows through the open weave of each shade.

Its long, slender shape suits a dining room or a living room, where its height draws the eye up a wall or into a quiet corner and its warm light sets a relaxed mood for an evening. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The pendant comes without a canopy of its own, so you will need the Yuyun power-supply canopy with its 24V driver, sold separately, which carries the driver and feeds the pendant at 24V DC. The pendant does not work without it, so we suggest ordering the two together.

The frame is aluminium and steel in Satin Beige, ending in a fine stem at the foot, and the cotton thread is wound in close, even strands from rim to centre on every shade. It is a Class III fitting that runs at 24V DC. Power comes from the mains, wired in by a qualified electrician through the 24V DC driver, so plan for your electrician to fit the canopy and pendant together. Do measure your ceiling height first: at 217cm tall, the pendant needs generous headroom.
