Description

This is a rectangular cotton cushion, 60cm long and 35cm wide, with a multicoloured pattern of swirling lines that ripple out like the grain of a cut log. Some of the lines are printed flat onto the cotton, while others are raised in a looped, tufted texture, so the front has something for the fingers as well as the eye. A tassel hangs from each of the four corners, and the back is a plain, solid colour with no pattern. It arrives filled, with a polyester filling inside a 100% cotton cover, and weighs 0.59KG.

The long, low shape is a lumbar size, made to sit across the back of a sofa or armchair, where it rests in the small of the back without crowding the seat. At 60cm long it suits a two-seater sofa or a reading chair, and it looks just as at home laid in front of the pillows on a bed. Because the front is busy and the back is plain, you can choose which face to show: the patterned side for a lively living room, the quieter side when the room is already full of colour and print. It also sits happily beside square cushions, giving a row a change of shape and height.

The cover is 100% cotton with a printed finish, and the care is straightforward: it can be machine washed at 40 degrees, tumble dried on low and ironed on a medium setting.
