This square cushion pairs a cream cotton ground with a tree of life design worked in soft green embroidery. Two facing deer stand at the base of the tree, their bodies filled with dense stitching that catches the light and gives the motif a hand-worked, folk-art feel. The symmetry of the branches and leaves keeps the whole scene balanced across the front.

A green blanket stitch runs around all four edges, framing the design and echoing the colour used in the central motif.
