Description

This wood effect photo frame pairs a soft natural finish with a slim white border around its outer edge, giving a favourite picture a light, fresh surround. It holds a single 7 x 5in print in a rectangular opening, and with no mount inside, the photograph fills the opening for a clean, simple look. The natural tone of the wide surround is pale and warm, with a gentle grain effect, while the thin white edge lifts it and keeps the frame looking crisp. It measures 20.5cm tall, 15.5cm wide and 1.7cm deep, a neat size that never crowds a room.

Because its colours are so quiet, this photo frame settles easily into most rooms, from a bedroom or hallway to a living room, study or home office. The pale natural finish sits happily alongside light furniture, linen and greenery, and the white border ties in neatly with white walls and painted shelving. It makes a thoughtful new home gift, perhaps holding a first picture taken in the new place, or a favourite photograph of the old street to remember it by. It is just as welcome for anyone who likes to keep family, friends and happy days close at hand around the house.

The wood effect finish gives the look of natural grain in a pale, even tone, and the white outer border frames the surround with a crisp contrast. At 1.7cm deep, the frame stays slim and unobtrusive wherever you place it. To keep it looking its best, dust it with a soft dry cloth, and wipe it with a slightly damp cloth if it needs more. For a gift, slip a printed 7 x 5in photograph inside before wrapping, so it is ready to enjoy the moment it is unwrapped. A picture in soft, light tones sits in easy harmony with the natural and white palette.
