Description

Small, upright and softly toned, this pendant has an aged pewter body 10cm across and 23cm tall, hung on a flex you can set at any drop up to 1.5m. It takes an E27 lamp, and the lamp that suits it best depends on the shade you pair it with, so the fitting reads as a neat piece of metalwork rather than the whole story. Aged pewter has a low sheen and a soft grey cast that sits happily against painted plaster and bare timber alike.

We reach for it where a light needs to hang without crowding a room: in a run along a kitchen island, beside a bed in place of a table lamp, over a small dining table, or in a hallway where floor space is tight. The long flex gives room to work in stairwells and tall rooms, while the same fitting can hang short and close in a snug or a galley kitchen. It suits anyone who likes to choose their own shade and swap it later, and the modest body means it will not dominate a narrow space.

The body is finished in aged pewter throughout, a muted metallic tone that warms rather than glares under a soft lamp. Keep the upkeep light: a dry duster over the body when you clean the room, and nothing abrasive or chemical, so the surface stays even. It carries a one year warranty. We stock the same E27 pendant in antique brass, antique copper and black chrome, and there is a G9 version of Wick in a wider spread of finishes including satin black, polished nickel and satin white, so a group over a worktop can be matched or mixed on purpose.
