Description

Decoded from the article code S SENSOR ON/OFF INT, this is a Wi-Fi motion sensor for indoor use. It detects movement in a space and switches connected lighting on or off, so circuits respond automatically as people come and go. Connection is over a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, and the unit runs on a 2 x 1.5V DC battery supply, which keeps wiring to a minimum. The white finish suits most ceilings and walls, and the IP20 rating means it is built for dry indoor rooms only, away from damp and direct water.

Use it where presence-based switching is helpful, such as hallways, landings, utility rooms and home offices, where lights need to come on as someone enters and turn off once the area is empty.
