Description

This is a replacement prismatic glass for two of our outdoor lanterns. It is a clear glass dome with fine vertical ribs that rise from the open base and gather towards the rounded crown, where a small opening sits at the very top. A flat flange runs around the base. The maker gives the total height as 160mm and the flange as 125mm across, and those are the two figures to hold against your old glass before you order.

It fits the Grand Tiller Wall Lantern and the Wellington Grand Post Lantern. Glass is the part of an outdoor light that takes the knocks, whether the lantern is on the wall by a front door or on a post at the end of the drive: a stray football, a ladder swung round too quickly, a branch in a winter gale. A cracked or chipped glass spoils a good lantern, and a new one puts the light back as it was without replacing the whole fitting.
