Description

The Way is a round in-ground light that sits flush with the surface and pushes its light out sideways rather than up. Two openings on opposite edges of the 160mm disc let a single bulb wash light low and wide across the ground, so it grazes a path, a drive or a lawn edge instead of glaring back at you. Lit, it reads as two soft arcs of light rising from the floor; unlit, it is a flat anthracite ring you can walk or drive straight over.

It is built for outdoor use in exposed spots: the body and diffuser are one piece of high-performance, anti-corrosion, UV-stabilised resin, sealed to IP67 against dust and immersion and rated IK10 for impact, so it takes foot and vehicle traffic and copes with harsh weather. It runs straight off the 220 to 240 volt mains with no separate driver, and it is not dimmable. It takes a single GX53 bulb, which is included, so it is ready to light once set into the ground.

The fitting measures 160mm across and 111mm deep into its housing, in an anthracite resin finish, carried on a five-year warranty and cleared for use from minus 15 to plus 45 degrees. We supply it with the GX53 bulb fitted; set into paving, a border or a driveway it gives a low, two-sided wash that marks a route without lighting the whole garden.

What kind of light does the Way give?

Yes. It is designed to be set flush into the ground and is rated IK10 for impact and IP67 against dust and immersion, so it is walkable and driveable. The body and diffuser are one piece of anti-corrosion, UV-stabilised resin made for harsh outdoor conditions.

Is a bulb included, and can it be dimmed?

A GX53 bulb up to 10W is included, so it is ready to use once installed. It is not dimmable and runs directly off the 220 to 240 volt mains with no separate driver needed.
