Description

The Way is a round in-ground light that sits flush with the surface and throws its light out to the sides. Three openings around the 120mm disc let a single bulb spread light low across the ground in three directions, so it grazes a path, a drive or a border rather than glaring upward. Lit, it reads as three soft fans of light rising from the floor; unlit, it is a flat anthracite ring you can walk or drive straight over.

It is built for exposed outdoor spots: the body and diffuser are one piece of high-performance, anti-corrosion, UV-stabilised resin, sealed to IP67 against dust and immersion and rated IK10 for impact, so it takes foot and vehicle traffic and copes with harsh weather. It runs straight off the 220 to 240 volt mains with no separate driver, and it is not dimmable. It takes a single GX53 bulb, which is included, so it is ready to light once set into the ground.

The fitting measures 120mm across and 93mm deep into its housing, in an anthracite resin finish, carried on a five-year warranty and cleared for use from minus 15 to plus 45 degrees. We supply it with the GX53 bulb fitted; set into paving, a border or a driveway it gives a low, three-way wash that marks a route across a wider spread than the smaller Way fittings.
