Description

The Waves is a single pendant formed from one continuous band bent into a soft, irregular wave and closed into a loose ring. It hangs flat from two fine steel cables, with the light held along the lower edge of the band behind an opal rubber diffuser, so the source is hidden and the glow reads as a bright line following the curve of the loop. Lit, it casts warm light down onto the surface below while the black band stays dark against the ceiling; unlit, it holds its shape as a graphic wavy ring.

The loop measures 942mm long and 451mm deep, with the cables adjusting the hanging height from 410mm to 2093mm. The horizontal, open form is made to be seen from below and to sit over something wide, so it suits a dining table, a kitchen island or a large desk, and works in a room with enough width to let the wave read as a shape.

The ceiling cap, frame and supports are matt varnished metal in black, with steel suspension cables and a PVC cable, and the diffuser is opal rubber. An integrated LED gives 4000 lumens at 3000K warm white and is rated to 30,000 hours, so there is no bulb to buy and it lights the moment it is wired. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

Do I need to buy a bulb?

No. The LED is integrated and included, so there is no separate lamp to fit. It arrives ready to wire and light.

Is it dimmable?

The integrated LED is not stated as dimmable, so we would treat it as a fixed-output fitting unless a compatible dimming driver is confirmed. We can advise before you order.
