Description
The Vista is a compact outdoor wall spotlight with a 90mm diameter white powder-coated aluminium body and an adjustable head that pivots to direct light onto pathways, planting, walls or architectural details. The fitting accepts a single GU10 bulb (sold separately) behind a transparent tempered glass lens, and carries an IP44 rating for protection against solid objects over 1mm and water splashes from any direction.
Designed for external walls on houses, garden boundaries, patios and outbuilding facades, the Vista projects 110mm from the wall when mounted and provides directed accent or security lighting rather than wide-area illumination. The adjustable head allows the beam to be angled after installation, making it suitable for highlighting front door entrances, lighting steps, or washing light across rendered or brick walls. The white finish pairs with modern rendered facades, coastal weatherboard cladding and contemporary garden schemes.
The aluminium construction resists corrosion in typical UK outdoor conditions, and the opaque powder coat finish hides minor surface marks that develop over time. The IP44 rating means the fitting withstands rain and exposure but is not suitable for direct hose-down or submersion. The GU10 socket accepts LED, halogen or CFL bulbs up to the maximum wattage shown in the specification table, giving control over beam angle (narrow spot vs wide flood) and colour temperature depending on the bulb chosen.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take and is one included?
The Vista accepts a single GU10 bulb up to the maximum wattage shown in the specification table. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a GU10 LED between 3-7W and a beam angle between 36° (narrow spot) and 120° (wide flood) depending on the application.
Is it suitable for coastal or exposed locations?
The IP44 rating protects against rain and splashing but not salt spray or direct hose-down. In coastal locations with persistent salt-laden wind, the aluminium and powder coat may degrade faster than in inland settings. Regular rinsing with fresh water extends the finish life in marine environments.
Can the light direction be adjusted after installation?
Yes. The spotlight head pivots on the wall bracket, allowing the beam to be angled up, down or to either side after the fitting is mounted and wired. This makes it suitable for applications where the exact target area is determined during commissioning rather than at the design stage.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the GU10 bulb installed. The fitting itself supports dimming (as shown in the specification table), but the bulb must also be dimmable and compatible with the dimmer model used. Check the bulb packaging before pairing with a dimmer circuit.
