Description

The Vidi W 5514 is a round recessed downlight built around an MR16 lamp holder, running on a 12V supply (12 AC or 12 DC) and rated for lamps up to 10W. It takes a Gx5.3 cap, the standard two-pin base used by MR16 reflector lamps, so you choose the beam, brightness and colour temperature by selecting the lamp rather than relying on a fixed integrated source. As a recessed can light, in US terms, it drops flush into the ceiling for a clean, low-profile finish with no visible bulk below the line of the plasterboard.

Because the output depends on the MR16 lamp fitted, the Vidi suits general task and accent duties across hallways, landings, kitchens and living spaces, with several units spaced across a ceiling to build an even wash.
