Description
The Vera Small Silhouette is a 350mm alabaster wall light cut from natural Spanish alabaster, with a slim 65mm width and an 80mm projection from the wall. The body is shaped as an elongated vertical column drawn into a soft hourglass at its midpoint, where two curved sections meet behind a brushed brass detail. An integrated 5W LED runs at 3000K, lighting the stone from within so the alabaster itself acts as the diffuser.
Designed for hallways, stairwells, bedside positions and ensuite walls, the compact scale means the Vera fits where a larger sculptural fitting would feel heavy. The narrow width sits cleanly between door frames and on pier walls, and the 80mm projection clears most circulation routes without intruding on walking space. Pair two units symmetrically either side of a bed, mirror or doorway, or install singly as a vertical accent on a longer wall run.
Each piece is cut from a single block of natural alabaster, so the veining, mineral patterning and translucency vary between individual lights. When the LED is switched on, the stone's internal structure becomes visible as a layered warm glow rather than a flat panel of light. The brushed brass mounting bracket anchors the fitting to the wall and introduces a warm metallic break against the pale stone, set on a 230V mains supply.

Frequently Asked
Is the Vera dimmable?
The integrated LED runs at 5W on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model, so please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm the unit will work with this fitting.
Does each piece look the same?
No. Each Vera is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, mineral patterning and translucency vary between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and the variation becomes more pronounced when the LED is lit.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
The Vera does not have a published IP rating, so it is intended for dry indoor zones rather than bathroom zones 1 or 2. It can be installed on a bathroom wall outside the splash zones if local wiring regulations are met.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
