This red velvet top hat is a Christmas decoration with real festive character, dressed in gold trim and tied with a deep green bow. The red velvet has a soft, plush pile that catches the light, and a band of scalloped gold trim runs around the top of the crown, with a matching gold edging around the edge of the brim. Two ornate gold motifs, each set with a clear jewel detail, sit down the front of the crown like the buttons on a bandsman's coat, and a square jewel detail holds the centre of the bow.
